A new poll shows a tighter race for governor. It’s the latest survey from Quinnipiac University. Terry McAuliffe leads Ken Cuccinelli by only a four-point margin. The Associated Press says likely voters give McAuliffe 45% support and Cuccinelli has 41%. A poll from the same group last week had McAuliffe with a seven-point lead. Libertarian Robert Sarvis has 9% support in the latest survey. But the results vary in other polls. Roanoke College gives McAuliffe a 15-point lead, he has a 7-point lead in the Rasmussen Reports, an 11-point lead in a Washington Post survey, but only a one-point lead in a poll from Hampton University.
