State Police say seven people died on Virginia roadways over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Of the deadly crashes, three motorcyclists were killed, including one each in Prince William and Fauquier Counties. There were ten fatalities last year during the same period. State troopers responded to nearly 800 crashes during this year’s holiday, and they also stopped more than ten-thousand speeding drivers and 93 suspected drunk drivers.
