Police Chief Explains Policy For Officer-Involved Shootings

Albemarle Police Chief Steve Sellers says he takes officer-involved shootings very seriously.     Sellers says his department has a clear policy for occasions when a county officer fires his weapon.    One of his officers fatally wounded an intruder during a June 8th domestic incident in the Afton area.   The department had a separate non-fatal incident over the Memorial Day weekend on Birdwood Drive in the city.    Sellers (pictured) was a Monday guest on Charlottesville…Right Now with Jay James.
