Police Arrest Man Following Convenience Store Holdup

A Charlottesville man has been charged with robbing a convenience store in Albemarle County’s urban ring. Police say 30-year-old Albert Felton is accused of robbing the 7-11 that’s near the intersection of 29 North and Woodbrook Drive. Felton was arrested a short time after a store clerk reported the 7 a.m. Sunday robbery. He’s being held at the Regional Jail on charges of robbery and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
