(Phoenix, AZ) — A wild back-and-forth game ended with an Adam Eaton walk-off solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Diamondbacks a 7-6 win over the Orioles at Chase Field. It was the opener of a three-game set. Brad Ziegler, who got the win, blew a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth inning. Chris Davis tied the game in the top the eighth on a solo shot and Wil Nieves answered the following half inning with a solo shot of his own. It was Nieves first homer of the season. Aaron Hill also connected for a two-run shot as Arizona improved to 60-and-57. Darren O’Day took the loss for Baltimore, which is 2-and-2 in its last four.
