Onetime Remington Volunteer Chief Will Go To Prison

A onetime volunteer fire chief and employee of the Prince William County schools will serve a two-year prison sentence for theft. 52-year-old Douglas “Bo” Taylor has already pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud and filing a false tax return. Prosecutors say he illegally took nearly $90,000 from the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and $60,000 from the Prince William schools. They say he used fraudulent invoices to steal from the fire department and misused a school department credit card.
