Newly Selected Albemarle Supervisor Prepares For Board Service

The man who will be the most junior member of the Albemarle Board of Supervisors is ready to return to the County Office Building. William Boston “Petie” Craddock is a self-identified Independent who will represent the Scottsville District until a special election in early November.
Craddock served on the Albemarle Planning Commission for eight years, and says he hopes to give the people of Scottsville a voice again. He appeared on Charlottesville..Right Now where he responded to Jay James’ question about the July 3rd pitch he made to the five current supervisors. Craddock (pictured left) is shown next to his daughter Ellie (pictured right) at UVA’s Final Exercises in May. He succeeds Democrat Chris Dumler, who resigned in early June.
