A few weeks after he started working for the city schools, the new principal of Charlottesville High School has resigned. Aaron Bissonnette was hired to take over the city’s only public high school. He came here from Moore County, North Carolina. Bissonnette has told the staff he believes CHS is an amazing place and he regrets having to leave so soon. He cites personal reasons for his abrupt departure. Assistant Principal Jill Dahl will fill Bissonnette’s shoes on a temporary basis. Students at CHS and the other city schools will attend their first classes next Wednesday.
