Several hundred people held a candlelight vigil Thursday night for Alexis Murphy. They honored the 17-year-old at the football stadium of Nelson County High School, where Alexis has been a student. She was last seen at 7:15 p.m. August 3rd at the Liberty gas and convenience store in Lovingston. The FBI has released a photo (pictured) of Alexis at that business off Route 29 in Nelson County. The girl’s father, Troy Brown, has told WDBJ -7 (the Roanoke area affiliate of CBS) he can’t wait to see his daughter again. Brown owns the white Nissan that his daughter borrowed last weekend. Police found it Tuesday in the parking lot of the Carmike Theater in Albemarle County.
