A Schuyler woman spent most of the weekend in jail after a confrontation with emergency responders. State Police say 25-year-old Samantha Tyree-Vest lost control of her car shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday on Route 6 in Nelson County. Police say Tyree-Vest is accused of pointing a gun at members of the Faber Volunteer Fire Company as they approached the wreck. She’s been charged with DUI, two weapons-related charges, and the possession of brass knuckles. Tyree-Vest is being held at the Regional Jail.
