National Aquarium Closes For Renovations

The National Aquarium in downtown Washington is closing. The aquarium is shutting down due to renovations taking place at the Department of Commerce, where the aquarium has been housed since 1932. There has been no decision on where to relocate. In the months ahead, the fish, alligators and other animals will be shipped off to other locations, including the aquarium in Baltimore.
