Most of Virginia’s House members have voted for legislation that would defund the 2010 Affordable Care Act while paying for other government functions from October 1st through December 15th. Local Republican representatives Robert Hurt, Eric Cantor, and Bob Goodlatte were on the prevailing side of a bill that cleared the House 230-189. Cantor (R- Henrico County) has urged the U.S. Senate to do the same thing. You can hear Cantor’s remarks by clicking the button at the bottom of this article.
