McDonnell Approval Rating Down

Governor Bob McDonnell’s approval rating is down by double digit points. According to a new Public Policy poll, 41-percent of Virginia voters disapprove of the governor’s job performance, which is down 12 points from last month. Only 36-percent of voters approve of the job the governor is doing. McDonnell is under fire after a former chef at the executive mansion, claimed he was told to take items from the kitchen as payment for catering events. Former chef Todd Schneider’s embezzlement trial is set to begin in October.
