We now know the identity of the man accused of causing the Monday closing of the Madison County schools. 33-year-old Christopher Michael Snoddy of Ruckersville is a network specialist in the technology department for the school system. The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office says Snoddy is charged with assault and battery of a family member. Snoddy is also under an emergency protective order for a mental evaluation. He was arrested Monday after the entire Madison school system was shut down as a safety precaution. Superintendent Matt Eberhardt did that after getting what was described as a disturbing e-mail late Sunday afternoon.
