Louisa Residents Convicted For Roles In 2012 Death

Two Louisa County residents have been convicted on charges that stem from a woman’s drug overdose. Troy Hensley and Tiffany Vawter went to pick up a fentanyl prescription on July 10th of last year, and one of them gave fentanyl to a 24-year-old woman. Hensley has been convicted of two counts of distribution of fentanyl, and a burglary count for an unrelated matter. He is now serving a four-year prison term. Vawter was convicted of distribution of fentanyl and expects to be sentenced November 6th in Louisa Circuit Court (pictured). The former correctional officer faces up to 10 years in prison.
