Louisa Hires New County Attorney

A lawyer from Northern Virginia who’s worked with local governments as an outside counsel will be the next County Attorney for Louisa. Michael Lockaby will be the permanent successor for Dale Mullen, who left the post in April. Lockaby (pictured) will start his new job on July 23rd, when he takes over for Louisa’s Interim County Attorney Gladys Yates. He’s a 2002 alumnus of the University of Virginia, and a 2006 graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.
