The next President of Longwood University will officially take office Saturday and he had to relocate from our area to assume the new job. Taylor Reveley IV, who’s a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School, has been working for seven years at UVA’s Miller Center. Jane Maddux of Albemarle County chaired the search committee that found Longwood’s next President. The new President’s father is Taylor Reveley III, who’s been the President of the College of William and Mary since 2008. The elder Reveley is also a graduate of the UVA Law School.
