An Albemarle High School junior is back home after she went missing late Friday and Saturday morning, and her mother had told Facebook readers she feared the girl had been abducted. 16-year-old Fiona Erskine was found safe and sound late Saturday morning not far from the family’s home in the Dunlora subdivision. A neighbor saw the teenager midday Saturday on East Rio Road, and she has been reunited with her family. Fiona has been questioned by Albemarle Police. She left her home at around 10:30 p.m. Friday to take pictures of the full moon in the Blackburn Bluff area of Dunlora. Fiona’s phone was found unattended, and that fueled anxiety about the girl’s safety.
