An Albemarle County man whose resume includes legal work for the University of Virginia and former Governor Jim Gilmore is the newest member of the Federal Election Commission. Lee E. Goodman joins five others on a panel that oversees and enforces federal campaign finance laws. The U.S. Senate confirmed President Obama’s nomination of Goodman several weeks ago. Goodman (pictured on left, wearing a red tie) holds two degrees from UVA.
