Most people who die from rabies are infected by bats. That’s one of the facts coming from the Thomas Jefferson Health District during Rabies Awareness Week. District Director Dr. Lilian Peake (pictured) says it’s not unusual to see more rabies this time of the year, because many people stay outdoors.
