An extension for University of Virginia Athletics Director Craig Littlepage. The UVA Board of Visitors reappointed Littlepage for another five years. He’s been leading sports at UVA since 2001. Littlepage told the Board that between 2002 and 2012, UVA teams have won seven national championships and 52 ACC championships. The teams had an average finish of 15th in the nationwide Directors’ Cup standings, ranging from a high of number-3 in 2010 to 27th in 2004. The 25-sport grade point average this past spring was 3.0, and 13 teams averaged over 3.0. From 2002 to 2006, the average graduation rate for UVA student-athletes was 76%, the fourth highest in the ACC.
