The House of Representatives has passed measures that Congressman Robert Hurt (R- Pittsylvania County) says will make it easier to get gas, coal, oil and other types of energy. Hurt (pictured) says one bill cuts down on regulation. Another would make it easier to extract energy sources from federally-owned land.
