STAB’s Head Coach, John Blake, Looks to Bounce Back from a Disappointing Season

While finishing 0-10 last year may not have been the way Head Coach John Blake envisioned the season going, he believes that the experience his young players had in 2012 will make all the difference this fall. Blake explained that, “One of our issues last year was we were playing a lot of young kids. But we’re athletic, and these kids have all gotten a year older, a little faster, and a little stronger. We’re looking pretty good, I think right now”.

John Blake recently caught up with us on The Best Seat in the House to discuss the upcoming football season and the changes this STAB program is making. As these players continue to grow and improve, Blake tells us, “We’re gonna move them around and let our athletes be athletes”. By utilizing each player’s talents as best they can, Blake hopes to put together a starting lineup that can kick off the season on a high note, and keep on rolling.
