It was the 13th homer of the year for Harper, who missed 31 games with knee bursitis. Jayson Werth went 2-for-5 with five RBI and Ryan Zimmerman added a pair of run-scoring singles. Jordan Zimmermann tossed six innings of four-run ball to improve to 12-and-3 for Washington while going 3-for-3 and scoring twice at the dish. The Nats have won three out of four. Rickie Weeks and Juan Francisco each poked solo homers for Milwaukee. Yovani Gallardo was tagged for eight runs in three-plus innings to fall to 6-and-8. The Crew saw its losing streak reach six games.
