Guilty pleas in a drunk driving crash that killed two people. It happened in June in Louisa County, and Monday the driver admitted guilt. Louisa Commonwealth’s Attorney Rusty McGuire says 30-year-old Kenneth G. Wadford of Cumberland drank four Twisted Teas at a campground on June 22nd. Wadford got into his van and about a mile down the road, he hit a motorcycle. On that bike were O’Neal Johnson and Joyce Herriot, who died at the scene. Wadford kept going until his van broke down. He ran into a swamp but came out a few days later and was arrested. In Louisa County Circuit Court, Wadford pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter, hit and run, and driving with a revoked license from a previous DUI conviction. When he’s sentenced, Wadford could get a total of 31 years in prison.
