Randy Allen Taylor will stand trial on an abduction charge after being indicted Tuesday by a grand jury in Nelson County Circuit Court. The grand jury determined that probable cause exists for a trial on two felony charges. One is for the alleged abduction of 17-year-old Alexis Murphy, and there’s a new unrelated charge of possessing a stolen all-terrain vehicle. Taylor’s next appearance in Nelson Circuit Court will be on October 23rd to set a trial date. Taylor (pictured) continues to be held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
