Governor, AG Disagree On School Law

The Governor says he disagrees with Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli about a new law. Cuccinelli wrote a letter this week to say a law that allows school takeovers is unconstitutional. He says he will not defend the law. The Attorney General says he sympathizes with General Assembly members who want to improve failing schools, but he believes their approach is wrong. His arguments are similar to ones from the Virginia School Boards Association and the Norfolk School Board.
