(Baltimore, MD) — Chris Davis hit his Major League-leading 34th homer of the year and Miguel Gonzalez was solid on the mound, as the Orioles cruised past the Rangers 3-1 at Camden Yards. Gonzalez tossed six-and-two-thirds-innings of one-run ball en route to his seventh victory of the year. Jim Johnson shut the door for his big league-best 31st save. Brian Roberts also hit a solo homer for the Birds as they broke even with the Rangers in the four-game set. Ross Wolf was solid in six innings, giving up just the solo home runs but fell to 1-and-2 with the loss. Ian Kinsler hit a solo blast for the Rangers lone run. The Rangers fall one full game behind idle Oakland in the AL West.
