The four nominees for City Council fielded questions Wednesday night from residents of the Fry’s Spring neighborhood. Republican Buddy Weber (pictured left) outlined his life experiences as a naval officer and lawyer. Democrat Kristin Szakos (pictured right), who will be the only incumbent on the fall ballot, outlined what she’s done to get people involved. Republican Mike Farruggio (pictured second from left) is a recently retired police officer and a graduate of UVA’s Sorenson Institute. Democrat Bob Fenwick (pictured second from right) stressed his experiences as a small businessman. City voters will elect two councilors on November 5th.
