Four men from Maryland have been charged with breaking into a bank in Greene County last year. The Greene Sheriff’s Office says the four suspects were among 16 people indicted in a Maryland federal court on counts ranging from bank robbery, commercial and residential burglary, and selling drugs. The incident in Greene County involved a burglary at the University of Virginia Credit Union in Ruckersville on April 8th, 2012. Deputies discovered that the bank vault room had been entered. The suspects ran and were not captured at the time. They’re identified in the indictments as David Paschall, William Metcalf, Ronald Henderson and Mark Johnson, all of Maryland. They’re charged with conspiring to commit bank robbery, interstate transportation of stolen goods and other offenses. Detectives with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office are working with agencies in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania as the investigation continues.
