Former Secretary Avoids Jail Time

The one-time secretary to a Culpeper Police Chief has avoided doing time. 56-year-old Bethany Parr Sullivan of Orange was charged with forging a police department entrance exam. The judge ordered Sullivan to be on good behavior for 10 years. She could have faced 10 years in prison. The crime was discovered during the investigation into her son,  former Culpeper Police Officer Daniel Harmon-Wright. He was found guilty of manslaughter in the shooting death of Patricia Ann Cook.
