The latest Virginian to join the ranks of lottery millionaires has dramatically expanded her disposable income. Christina Robinson (pictured right) bought a Powerball ticket in mid-May at a Food Lion in Fairfax County’s Gunston Plaza. Robinson admits she’s not a very savvy player but she knows a woman who buys tickets for lottery pools on a regular basis. The only difference between the Powerball ticket that Robinson bought at a Fairfax grocery store and the $600 million ticket someone purchased in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area of Florida was the Power Ball number. Robinson is one of 33 players across Virginia who bought a ticket worth $1 million. She got a check Friday from Virginia Lottery Director Paula Otto (pictured left).
