Researchers say they’ve found the likely cause of Atlantic bottlenose dolphin deaths along the East Coast. It’s an illness called morbillivirus, which is described as the equivalent of measles in humans. Maggie Mooney-Seus is with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says the next step is finding why the dolphins are susceptible to the disease in the first place. Since July 1st, there have been 330 dolphin deaths from Virginia to New York.
