Cynthia Neff Gives Up Her Driver’s License

Local political activist Cynthia Neff has surrendered her driver’s license. An Albemarle County judge suspended her license for one year following her DUI conviction. The judge has fined Neff $250 and gave her 30 days of jail time with all of that suspended for good behavior. A county police officer stopped Neff last October on Pritchett Lane and gave her a test that showed she had been drinking. Neff was the Democratic nominee for a House of Delegates seat in 2009, and her party nominated her for Rio District supervisor two years ago.
