City Reminds Its Residents That Fireworks Are Banned

Fire Chief Charles Werner is reminding city residents that Charlottesville prohibits fireworks of any kind.    Werner says there have been tragic circumstances involving explosives, and he doesn’t want them repeated.   Albemarle and other Virginia counties have fewer restrictions, as long as the fireworks are on private property.    Werner was a Tuesday guest on Charlottesville…Right Now with Les Sinclair.
