City Police Identify Suspect In Bank Robbery

City Police have identified the suspect in a bank robbery. Police are looking for 37-year-old Richard Nelson Hawkins III. Hawkins (pictured) goes by the nickname Squirrel, and he’s a white male with brown hair and eyes. He’s 5’8″, weighs 175 pounds, and has a tattoo of a turtle on his right shoulder, and two piercings in his left ear. Hawkins’ last known address was in the 1300-block of Early Street. He’s a suspect in the armed robbery of the United Bank branch at 5th and East Main. That holdup happened at 4:45 p.m. Monday. If you see Hawkins, call the Crime Stoppers at 977-4000.
