Activist Cindy Sheehan brought her “Tour de Peace” bike tour to Random Row Books Tuesday night. Sheehan’s son Casey died in Iraq nine years ago, and she’s spent nearly 12 weeks spreading her anti-war message from coast-to-coast. She says the only media coverage she gets now is in places like Charlottesville. Sheehan challenged Nancy ’s bid for reelection seat in 2008. She was the Peace and Freedom Party’s nominee for Vice-President last year, sharing a ticket with Rosanne Barr. Sheehan plans to complete her bike tour next week in the nation’s capitol, which she describes as “Washed Up, Deceit.” She posed with an admirer Tuesday evening on West Main Street.
