The two major political parties had a final flurry of activity before the voters get their say. Republican candidate for governor Ken Cuccinelli (pictured center) led an election eve rally Monday afternoon at the Albemarle GOP headquarters. Cuccinelli sees his battle with Democrat Terry McAuliffe as a referendum on the Affordable Care Act, which he calls Obamacare. Cuccinelli was joined by his ticket-mates E.W. Jackson and Mark Obenshain. Vice-President Joe Biden led a rally for McAuliffe and other Democrats in Annandale. McAuliffe is touring with his ticket-mates Ralph Northam and Mark Herring. Libertarian nominee for Governor Robert Sarvis held his final pre-election event on the Downtown Mall. You can hear brief back-to-back remarks by Cuccinelli, Biden, and Sarvis by clicking the button and downloading audio at the bottom of this article. The polls are open until 7 p.m.
