(Washington, DC)  —  Justin Upton went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI to lead the Braves to a 6-3 win over the Nationals in D.C.  The red-hot Upton extended his hit streak to 12-games as Atlanta won its 13 straight.  B.J. Upton collected four hits, while Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman each drove in run for the Braves, who swept the three-game series.  Kris Medlen improved to 9-and-10.  Washington’s Jayson Werth hit his 16th long ball of the season, had two RBI and scored twice.  Reliever Ryan Mattheus was handed his first loss of the season.
