Authorities Seek Information Regarding Randy Allen Taylor’s Vehicle

As part of the investigation into the disappearance of Alexis Murphy, authorities are asking the public for any information they might have on the suspect’s vehicle (pictured). It belongs to Randy Allen Taylor, and it was spotted in a surveillance video at the Liberty gas station in Lovingston where Alexis was last seen. Anybody who has been around it recently should contact investigators and describe what they saw and where they saw it. The number to call is the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office at 263-7050. An advisement hearing for Taylor was held this afternoon in Nelson Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court. Judge Kenneth Farrar appointed Scott DeBruin of Lynchburg to represent Taylor on the abduction charge. Taylor’s next appearance, a preliminary hearing, is not scheduled to be held until January 9th. Taylor remains in jail without bond at this time.
