Authorities Investigate Threatening Emails Sent To Cuccinelli Campaign

Law enforcement agencies are investigating threatening emails that were sent to Virginia’s Attorney General.  The NBC affiliate in Washington, D.C. has search warrants that show the sender of the emails threatened Ken Cuccinelli and his family. WRC Channel 4 is reporting one message that came from Michigan was filled with profanity and misspelled words, and warned Cuccinelli not to seek any federal offices. The warning read “don’t run for Congress, I’ll kill you.” It also threatened Cuccinelli’s wife and seven children. Cuccinelli (pictured) is running for Governor, and his campaign organizers reported the threats to the State Police. He says he takes any threat against his children seriously. State Police investigators say no arrests have been made.
