The unique political calendar of Virginia gives us active campaigning every summer and fall as November gets closer, and a Loudoun County Democrat brought his bid for Attorney General over the weekend to Charlottesville and Nelson County. State Senator Mark Herring (pictured) notes Democrats have not won a contest for Attorney General since Mary Sue Terry was re-elected in 1989. Herring is battling Republican State Senator Mark Obenshain of Harrisonburg. Virginians will elect a new Attorney General on November 5th.
