Albemarle woman renews effort to force Dumler to quit

An Albemarle woman has seized on a new Washington scandal and she’s found similarities to a local controversy.  Constance Stevens is a critic of Scottsville District Supervisor Chris Dumler and she’s frequently carried signs that urge him to resign.

Stevens hopes Dumler will lose the seat he won in 2011. Dumler pleaded guilty in January to a misdemeanor charge of sexual battery. He’s serving his sentence on weekends in the regional jail.
