Supervisors Choose Petie Craddock To Replace Dumler

The Albemarle Supervisors have chosen Petie Craddock as the interim successor to former Scottsville District representative Chris Dumler. Craddock spent eight years as the Scottsville District representative on the Albemarle County Planning Commision. He was selected over nine other applicants. Craddock (pictured left) is an Independent who will serve until the fall special election. He’s shown with his daughter Ellie (pictured right) during UVA’s Final Exercises in May.  Scottsville District voters will elect Dumler’s permanent successor November 5th. Democrat Dumler resigned June 5th, more than four months after he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery.
