Albemarle Has Another Home Invasion

Albemarle Police are investigating another home invasion in the county’s urban ring. Police say three armed men forced their way into a house shortly before midnight last Thursday in the 1100-block of Cottonwood Road. The suspects are accused of attacking a father and son by hitting each man with a gun. The victims did not suffer serious injuries, and there have been no arrests. Police are still investigating a pair of similar crimes on Colonnade Drive and Lakeview Drive. Police have made one arrest that involves the Lakeview Drive home invasion. 19-year-old David Camm Ragland of Nelson County was arrested June 26th. He’s accused of robbery, breaking and entering, and a firearms violation.
