Many Virginians are not optimistic about their children’s future. The “Strong Kids, Strong Virginia” campaign says 60% of the people it surveyed believe the government does not do enough to ensure the health, education and well-being of kids. 48% of those it surveyed believe kids will be worse off than the current generation of adults. Steve Clermont represents Every Child Matters, which is demanding responses from this year’s political candidates.
