An accreditation review team is examining governance issues at UVA this week. That follows the failed attempt to remove President Teresa Sullivan last year. Representatives from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools are here through Wednesday. The commission put the University on warning in December after concluding a minority of the Board of Visitors was behind the effort to get rid of Sullivan. The association also faculty leaders were not consulted or alerted about the action. Association president Belle Wheelan says a committee will investigate whether the issues have been resolved.
