Come for a delicious lunch and to hear Dr. Brian Wispelwey, UVA’s associate chairman for medical education and the founder and director of the HIV Clinic. Dr. Wispelwey was instrumental in creating a telemedicine program that provides long-­distance care to AIDS patients in eight Virginia prisons. With his guidance, UVA joined a telemedicine consortium that provides consultations for the government of South Africa.
