Make Montpelier part of your family’s holiday season! Explore the home of James and Dolley Madison by candlelight and learn about 19th-century Christmas customs of the early American republic. Visitors are invited to delight in light refreshment, wine, and wassail and enjoy holiday music, caroling, and dancing. Complete your holiday shopping with gifts, books, and mementos from Montpelier’s Museum Shop. Admission is $35 at the door and $25 in advance. Admission for children ages 6-14 is $10 and free for children under 6. For advanced sale tickets, kindly RSVP for the first weekend (Dec. 6 & 7) by December 5, and RSVP for the second weekend (Dec. 13 & 14) by December 12. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to guarantee a full refund. Print out your eventbrite ticket and check in at the Visitor Center.
